Measuring the Width for New Stage Curtains

Measure on the floor, the distance that your stage curtain or drape needs to cover. If you are measuring a bi-parting drape, you probably want it to overlap in the center. We generally suggest a 1" overlap of each panel at center stage. Also, please keep in mind that on proscenium curtains, you probably want a 6-12" overlap of the proscenium opening on both off-stage sides (provided you have enough space).

Note: The above tips are general guidelines to assist customers in determining curtain sizes for their specific venue based on their specific hardware. Track, carrier, and hardware specifications and sizes change sporadically, so it is important that customers this only as a general guideline to assist in the process of measuring for their specific curtains.
