Stage Rigging Types
Theatrical Rigging includes all hardware and components required to suspend or your stage’s curtains and theatrical equipment. Stage rigging typically falls into three categories: Dead Hung, Counterweight, and Motorized. Dead hung rigging systems are used to permanently suspend elements that do not need to be moved, while counterweight rigging systems employ balanced sets of weights which allow stage workers to easily raise and lower elements. Motorized systems are reserved for complex sets with multiple, heavy elements that must be flown in with speed, reliability and accuracy.
For help with a new rigging installation or service for your existing rigging system, contact us.
